Before you buy skincare

Check itbefore youbuy it.

Paste a link or scan a barcode. See whether it fits what you avoid, your budget and your routine, where it costs least across sellers, and cheaper products with the same actives. Then your routine falls into order and your Skin Diary keeps the story.

Skin analysis

A report you can act on.

Take a selfie and two AI models read it: one marks what the photo shows on your face; the other turns that into a plan from what you own, your allergies and your budget. It describes what a photo shows, and is not medical advice.

  • Each observation marked on your face, with what the photo shows, what may explain it and what can help
  • Every zone of the face read, from forehead to jawline
  • A morning and evening plan from your shelf, allergies and budget, with prices
  • Ingredients to look for and to avoid, and what to expect by week 12

What it costs

Others charge for every analysis. Ours is free.

AI skin analysts usually put the scan, the report and the advice behind a subscription. Here, nearly everything is free, with no trial that runs out.

Most skincare advice ends at buy more. We help you buy less, use what you have well, and see how your skin responds.

  1. 01A check before every buyYour records, every seller's price and cheaper products with the same actives, in one card.
  2. 02Your allergies, checked everywhereTell it once what your skin reacts to: it's never recommended, and anything that matches asks before it's added.

What it does

Check. Choose. Use. Remember.

One loop, from the product you're about to buy to what you use each day, so every choice builds on the last.

  1. 01 · Before you buy

Check it before you buy it.

Paste a link, type a name or scan the barcode, and get a straight answer before you pay: whether it clashes with what you avoid, whether something on your shelf already does the job, and how it fits your routine and budget.

    • What your own records say about it, conflicts first
    • Cheaper products from other brands with the same actives
    • Say you bought it: it goes on your shelf, and the saving is counted
Before you buy, on a moisturiser: nothing in the records against it, the lowest price on Tira at ₹73 less than the highest listing, the same product on Nykaa, and three cheaper moisturisers with the same actives
  2. 02 · Allergies & sensitivities

Tell it once. It's checked everywhere.

Record what your skin reacts to: an ingredient, a family like fragrance or nut oils, a brand, or just the product that bothered you. From a product, it works out what may be behind it, and points out every other product that shares it: in recommendations, your wishlist, Discover and your routine.

    • Matches are never recommended, and adding one asks first
    • Likely culprits from the products you react to, minus what you use happily
    • No readable label means “couldn't check”, never “safe”
What may be behind it: for a serum recorded as irritating the skin, the ingredients it lists that aren't in anything used without trouble, with fragrance marked most likely, eleven more it lists folded away, and one tap to record it or the brand
On another product's page: worth a look, it shares Fragrance (Parfum) with the serum recorded as irritating the skin
  3. 03 · Recommended for you

    Buy less. Know why.

Your latest skin analysis becomes a shortlist on your shelf, and it knows what you already have. Pick one product for a need and the alternatives step aside; anything you already use isn't suggested again.

    • “Already covered” when you've picked one for the same need
    • “You may already have this” before you buy a second of the same job
    • “Not for me” sticks: new reports leave it out
Recommended for you on the shelf: counts of products, needs and picks, filters by need, and a card marked Already covered
  4. 04 · Where to buy

    One product, every seller's price.

Decided? Pay less for it. The same product is matched across Nykaa, Tira, Purplle and brands' own stores, so every seller's latest price sits side by side, with the lowest marked.

    • Matched by barcode, or checked when there isn't one
    • Price per 100 ml, so different sizes compare fairly
    • Price watch: drops and restocks show on Today
Where to buy for one face wash: Tira lowest at ₹174, then Purplle at ₹202, the brand's own store at ₹249 and Nykaa at ₹384, each with its price per 100 ml and rating
  • 05 · Skin Diary

    A diary that keeps itself.

Rate your day, note what you noticed, add a photo if you like. Every change to your routine, and every step you tick, lands on the same day; undo something and it leaves no trace.

    • Routine changes recorded for you, netted for the day
    • An optional photo, seen only by you
    • The last 90 days, kept tidy
A Skin Diary entry: a rating of 4 of 5, observations, context, products used, the routine changes made that day and the morning's ticks
  • 06 · My Routine

A routine in the right order, on the right days.

Every product, used in the right order. Add one and it lands where it belongs; Tidy my routine keeps the rest in step: sunscreen by day, retinoids by night, clashing actives on different nights.

    • Layering order worked out from each product's type
    • Tidy my routine: one tap to put everything in order
    • Every day, alternate days or weekly, with the days shown
My Routine after Tidy my routine: a sunscreen moved to mornings only, and morning and evening steps in layering order

Real screens from the app, with real catalogue products. Prices are each seller's listing when it was last imported; check the seller's page before you pay. Recommendations are general information, not medical advice.

Scan a barcode

Scan it in the aisle.

In a shop, with the pack in your hand: scan its barcode and Before you buy finds the product, checks it against what you avoid, and shows what it costs at every seller.

  1. 01Scan the barcodePoint your camera at the pack, or take a photo of it.

Buy smarter

The right product, at the lowest price.

The cheapest product is the one you didn't need; the next cheapest is the same thing from the seller who lists it for less. Before you buy tells you both.

  • ↓price watch

Your wishlist is watched for price drops and restocks, so you buy when it's lower.

Savings are counted, never estimated: from purchases you record, against the highest price for the same product at another seller, or the product you passed over. Check the seller's page before you pay; buying stays your decision.

Meet Sage

Ask before you buy.

Sage is the assistant on every page. Ask whether you need a product, what your routine is missing or what your Skin Diary shows, and it answers from what your records actually hold. Out of the box it works by fixed rules, with no AI model called; with its AI model switched on, it also takes open questions, and every answer is checked against your records before you see it. It never diagnoses, and never claims a product caused anything.

  • Answers from your own routine, shelf, Skin Diary and skin analyses
  • Every point marked: your record, a product record, an app rule, or not known
  • Before you buy, it says what you already have for the same need
  • Changes to your routine or diary are saved only when you confirm
